Project background

The project runs under the Erasmus+ programme, "Cooperative Partnerships in Adult Education". The aim of the project is to explore existing approaches to language learning in the consortium countries, and to further develop new approaches for integrated foreign language and culture learning.

The project will offer a range of activities for foreigners and refugees in the partner countries (workshops and seminars) as well as for professionals and educators in the field of cultural institutions and integration of foreigners and refugees (surveys, training and seminars).

Effective teaching

To find the most effective ways of teaching foreign languages through tangible and intangible cultural heritage in a setting outside of a classroom.

Optimal methods

To evaluate and select optimal methods and activities for introducing a foreign language within a cultural heritage context.

Tailored education

Create educational materials tailored to language learners with migrant and refugee backgrounds.

Support competency

Supporting linguistic and intercultural competences, as well as cultural expression and creativity of individuals with migrant and refugee experience.

Facilitate collaboration

Facilitating collaboration among cultural and educational institutions to facilitate language learning through cultural engagement.

Strengthen expertise

Strengthening the expertise of educators for the integrated teaching of language and culture beyond traditional classroom settings.
